Snowdon Mountain Railway Covid Statement
We would like to update you on our plans regarding the opening of the railway for the 2020 season.
With immediate effect we have decided to postpone the opening of our 2020 season until 1st May. This means that no trains will be running and Hafod Eryri, the summit visitor centre, will remain closed.
We are closely following the advice from the Government and when this changes we will alter our approach to meet the new advice.
The welfare of our staff, the local community and visitors to the railway is of the upmost importance to us. Therefore we feel these precautionary measures are necessary at this time.
Further announcements on our future plans, as well as updates on access to our shops and cafés, will be made on our website/social media at the earliest opportunity.
Any passengers who have booked to visit us during March and April will be contacted by our Ticket Office.
We look forward to welcoming you, when we reopen, to experience this unique rail journey to the Summit of the highest mountain in Wales and England.
