Remembering Emma

We are sorry to have to deliver this news, but feel it is time to let our readers know, as we are aware that a number of you were inspired (like us) by Emma’s story and got involved with her event here.

With heavy hearts we report that the courageous, dedicated and inspirational Emma Welch passed away last week following surgery carried out to correct a scoliosis curvature on her spine.

Just days before this, Emma came with friends and family to Snowdon for her record breaking teddy bears picnic event- raising funds for Brain Tumour Research.

We helped by carrying many of the extra teddies up to the summit on our morning train and back down again later in the day. We feel very lucky to have been able to get involved and help with the fabulous fundraising event.

Along with ways to donate, a full story can be found here, please do read:

In time we will like to personally honour Emma and remember her accomplishment here on Snowdon as well as her many other achievements. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
